Happy Holidays everyone!
How is everyone's holiday? Mine is good. My parents gave me a bonsai tree! Does anyone here happen to know how to shape them? I hope everyone had a great holiday! :.)

Hullo! I'm new, otherwise I would have replied sooner. I got a bonsai tree for christmas! They're cool, huh? There's lots of good books that tell you how to do it, but otherwise, if you're out on a whim, then you can pretty much cut it how you want (well, within reason). Where you cut it, twice as many leaves will grow. You can also put a wire on its trunk about July/August, but make sure you cut it off in February :) What type is it?

It's a Chinese juniper. Yeah, they are pretty cool, but I don't have a lot of time to take care of it. What kind is yours?
